This March, our High School Students will travel to Goldfield, Nevada to connect with the community with sports camps, a VBS and helping to meet the needs of the local churches.

This Spring, Sun Valley Students will partner with UCYC Campground to assist with a few work projects to prepare them for the summer season. During the days, we will tackle projects such as painting and helping with landscaping. In the evenings, we will head into town and serve the local community, partnering with ministries that help families needing clothing and food. We will walk through biblical principles about serving and what that means for our faith, all of which provide a great opportunity for our students to put into practice what we teach here at Sun Valley.

Our Sun Valley team will partner with Chosen Children Ministries as we work with the local churches around Masaya, Nicaragua, to build relationships and create sustainable ministry while sharing the love of Jesus. There is a wide range of projects to get involved in, all based on Chosen Children Ministry’s needs. These include building houses, constructing latrines, distributing food bags, making home visits, and leading Vacation Bible School for local children and Bible studies for adults.

On this trip, our team will join Orchard: Africa on the ground and support local churches and programs on a mission trip in South Africa. Follow Jesus by spending time in a different culture and focusing on serving others. See God at work in Africa and make a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable families.
