Hope Aug 09, 2020 - We can live for a month without food, days without water, and seconds without air, but we can’t live a moment without hope. The human soul must have hope. We thrive on it and we cannot survive without it. The Bible teaches that real hope is not psychological, but theological. It is bigger than optimism, better than a good attitude, and more powerful than wishful thinking could fathom. Our hope is certain. It is sure and stellar even in the darkest of times. There is hope. In This Series Deliver Us From EvilSep 06, 2020 | Chad Moore What are some decisions you could make today to compound into tomorrow? What does your soul need today? The soul's needs are met in the presence of the kingdom. As we wrap up our series on Hope, Chad reminds us about the power of the present and the beautiful gift God has given us that yesterday ended last night. Pain & SufferingAug 30, 2020 | Robert Watson There is purpose in hard times. Suffering has a place in the Christian life. When Jesus prayed, “your will be done” it involved suffering, but it also fulfilled God’s purposes. One of the ways we battle hopelessness is to take hold of the truth that there is purpose even in our pain. This allows us the freedom to grow through whatever it is we’re going through. There is purpose in our pain. LonelinessAug 23, 2020 | Chad Moore Jesus changes everything. In Him, God Almighty is our Abba. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Trusters of Jesus are never alone. Feelings aren’t facts and our anchor is a fact. Feelings may change and be tossed about by the wind, but the anchor remains. We must learn to let the facts of our faith drive our feelings instead of the other way around. Our Father is an anchor for our souls. We are not alone. ForgivenessAug 16, 2020 | Robert Watson We would be hopeless in our sin without Jesus. He is our hope because he paid it all. Christianity rests on the truth that we have a Savior. We have been set free from our sin. This includes the penalty of sin and the prison of our sin. Jesus breaks the chains of addiction and we free to be holy! He has turned our hopeless end into and endless hope. Sin has no hold on us. Anchor For Our SoulsAug 09, 2020 | Chad Moore When the storms of life toss us about, we have an anchor for our souls. The promise of Jesus and the truth of who God anchors us. He is unchanging. He cannot lie. Our hope in His promises remain.
