UNSTOPPABLE

On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it. - Matthew 16:18

Unstoppable. Very few things in life can be described as unstoppable. Yet it perfectly describes God, His Word, and His plan. The Bible says that God reigns over the whole universe, His Word never returns void and that His plans will be established. God is Unstoppable.

The Bible says the church is unstoppable. And that God, in His perfect wisdom, has commissioned people like you and me to take His perfect word to a lost, confused and misdirected world to give them hope, help and healing. The church is unstoppable.

The word "unstoppable" also describes the spirit of the people of Sun Valley. From the very beginning, we have done whatever was necessary for the good news of God's love to reach every neighborhood, every home and every heart in the East Valley and beyond. Every generation of Sun Valley has moved forward with the belief that our mission was not complete and that God's purpose for us was not yet fulfilled. Now it is our turn.

Our families are talking, planning and praying about how we will invest financially to this mission. We will give generously and sacrificially to ensure that we fulfill our role in what God is doing at Sun Valley and in the East Valley. I know that the other pastors, directors, staff and lay leaders at Sun Valley are ready to make great sacrifices to accomplish the vision as well.

Our prayer and request is that you would join us in this journey. The resources here will give a picture of what we believe to be the next chapter in the Sun Valley vision. Stack hands with us in the mission that our unstoppable God has for us.

Take the time to talk as a family about what you believe God is asking you to give sacrificially toward this opportunity. Determine the adjustments to your spending that will be necessary to keep you moving toward your generosity goal.

COMMIT

On the weekend of March 5-6, make your commitment before God and the people of Sun Valley. Services that weekend will include an opportunity to fill out a commitment card.
Also, do your best to give 10% of your 18-month total on that first weekend in our "First Fruits" offering.
