Where "Community" Means Something

Each of us needs a “first step” in getting involved! Our local opportunities are a great way to make a difference in your world! Find out how to share your faith more effectively by attending an “Invest & Invite” seminar, or plunge right into one of our great partnerships!

Project Connect

Project Connect is coming to Sun Valley on September 22 - [Visit the Project Connect Page]

Sun Valley is teaming with Valley of the Sun United Way in taking action with solutions that address the root causes of homelessness and those in need. Project Connect offers instant access to the resources people in our community need to start the journey back to health, financial stability and housing. This includes access to goods - like food and clothing - and services such as counseling and job placement

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity
Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian organization. We are dedicated to eliminating substandard housing and homelessness worldwide and to making adequate, affordable shelter a matter of conscience and action. Our ministry was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, decent place to live in dignity and safety.

Operation S.O.S.
Partnering with Medecons Initiative, this ministry is built around serving the needy elderly in our community. Its vision is to provide support those in need with basic services such as home and yard work so the seniors in our community can live independently and with dignity. By building ongoing relationships we can show and share God's love to those in need. One time and ongoing opportunities available.
