Blast - Jr. High

Blast is an exciting ministry that reaches 7th & 8th graders through relevant teaching, media, games, music, and events throughout the year. We believe that 7th and 8th graders can impact the world.

Outreach Events:

These events are designed for students to invite their un-churched friends to come and see what it means to follow Christ.

Weekend:

The weekend services give Junior High students a chance to learn how God fits in their lives. God's truth is communicated in a fun way with Junior High students in mind.

Camps:

This action packed week promises to be life-changing as students will come face to face with God. At camp, students will experience the best week of their lives!

Small Groups:

We meet on campus on Wednesday evenings in a large group first, and then split into small groups. This is a great place for your student to grow by building healthy relationships with other students and leaders who care for them.

Serving:

Our desire is to see Junior High students serving at Sun Valley. Whether it's setting up for the Junior High service, welcoming new students or serving in children's ministry. With serving, Junior High students can play an important and significant role in their church.

Mission Trips:

Junior High students have the opportunity to spend their spring break on an inner-city mission trip for all ages that challenges students to live out what the Bible teaches.

We partner with local organizations that allow students to experience a different culture, all the while serving God.

Blast Mission Trip '10

When:
March 13th - 17th, 2010
We will meet at Sun Valley in Aud B,
Saturday, March 13th at 10:00am.
We will return Wednesday, March 17th at approximately 3:00pm.

Where:
We will be partnering with First Baptist Church of Silver City and serving in and around the town of Silver City, NM. Students will be staying with families from the church. We will be attending
a church service at First Baptist Church on Sunday, March 14th.

Cost:
Total cost $160.00
If $50 deposit paid by February 28th.
Cost will increase to $175.00 after
February 28th. Remaining balance
due no later than March 7, 2010.
