Parent Camp & Mission Meeting

If you are a parent of a student currently in 2nd through 12th Grade, please join us Saturday, January 23 at 6:30pm in Auditorium A. We will be sharing all the details for 2010 camps and mission trips. Find out the what, where, when, and why, as well as fundraising opportunities. It is our desire for all students to be able to participate in our life-changing trips! If you need extra incentive to attend, will we be holding a drawing for a “half-off” camp or spring break mission trip! Child care will be available by request. The Process

In Student Ministries we have designed our programming and events to help move students through a process creating relationships and experiences that grow them closer to God.

The Programs

1. Outreach Events - Fun events designed to connect the church with those outside the church.
2. Weekend - The weekend environment is a place where students can learn about the God that created them through relevant teaching. This is for both the seeker and the believer.
3. Camps - Camps serve as a fun and exciting way to help students connect with God and other students away from the normal everyday routine.
4. Small Groups - Small groups are where 'church' really begins to happen. Students are connected with peers and leaders who care for them as they wrestle through the truths of God's word.
5. Serving - Sun Valley offers a wide variety of service opportunities for students. It's our desire that students would identify and develop the gifts God has given them to serve.

Life Hurts God Heals for Teens 12-18

Life Hurts God Heals is a share group that is designed specifically for teenagers who have experienced pain or addiction from any of the myriad of problems that youth face today. Join us Fridays from 6:30 – 9:00pm starting on January 22nd, 2009. For more information about this small group please email Leslie Morand.
