New Family Information

Children need to feel safe:

Children learn best when they feel safe and secure, so we strive to make Kids Zone a safe place from the nursery all the way though the Fourth grade. All of our adult volunteers complete an application, which includes a background screen and reference check.

Children want to have fun while they learn:

We use age appropriate, interactive curriculum so our children experience God’s Word “hands-on”.   We strive to help the Bible come to life through worship, drama, crafts, and games.  God’s Word is exciting, so our classroom should be also!

Children need to feel loved:

We believe that without love, our teaching would only touch their minds.  We want it to touch their hearts also!  The Children’s Ministry staff and volunteers love children and it shows!

Children need their families:

We put the family first; that is why we provide several spiritual growth opportunities where the whole family can participate and learn together.

Children need Jesus:

We can have a lot of fun, but if we do not share the Gospel, then what we have done is meaningless.  While we share the Gospel with the children, the results are left to the Holy Spirit.

What happens at home is more important than what happens at church:

In Deuteronomy 6:6-9 we see that God gives parents/guardians the primary responsibility for teaching their children His Word.  Therefore, we believe it is our privilege and responsibility to walk along side you and provide programming and take home resources that will help you build faith at home.
