Welcome to the SVCC Softball Ministry page!
The Softball Ministry at SVCC got started in the spring of 2002. This
ministry was created to connect people attending weekend services with
others that enjoy the game of slow-pitch softball. Over the years this
ministry has been an environment that has brought together a multitude
of people. These people have made relationships, on and off the field,
which helped in their Christian growth. It has even brought people, not
attending Sun Valley, from the softball fields into a weekend service to
hear God’s word.
We have had as many as 11 teams on various nights and times playing in
the Town of Gilbert’s softball leagues held at Freestone Park. We have
Men’s and Co-Rec teams and try to accommodate each player with their
preference of time and skill level. If you are interested in
participating in our softball program, please click the register for a
team button to the right to fill out our online registration form and
you will be contacted by someone from the Softball ministry. For any

The summer season just ended but were gearing up for the upcoming Fall
season. Games begin the week of September 10th. All games are played at
Freestone Park on various nights of the week through the first week of
November. We play with the Town of Gilbert's softball leagues. Please
join us for a season of fun and fellowship!
